How To Change or View Router Password?

Changing the password of your router is a crucial step in ensuring the security of your network. With cyber threats on the rise, it's important to take proactive measures to safeguard your data. Changing the router password prevents unauthorized access and protects against potential intrusions.

Start by accessing the router's admin interface through a web browser and locating the password settings. Choose a unique password that combines uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

Follow the below steps to change or view the router password.

Step 1: Dashboard

After login, you get the below dashboard. Select Smart Home.

Step 2: Settings

Click on "Settings" from the left navigation bar from the smart home section.

Step 3: Start Wizard

Click on "Start Wizard".

Step 4: Change or View The Router's Password

You can change the router password in the Router Admin section.

Step 5: Change the Router's Password

Enter the new password here and "Submit".

The new password for Router is getting updated.

A message appears on the screen "Setting up your myhome Device. It will take a few minutes".

Router Password Updated:

A message appears on the screen "Configuration set successfully". The router password is updated.
