How To Set up Mesh Using The Xunison Router Application?

Note: To set up the Mesh, at least two devices(routers) are required:

1) Master Device: The device should be connected to the power and ethernet cables.

2) Slave Device: It should be connected with a power cable. Do not provide slave devices with either a WAN connection or 4G.

The slave should not have an internet connection.

Keep a minimum distance of 3 to 4 meters and a maximum of 30 to 35 meters between the two routers.

Step 1: Select "Router App"

Select “Router App” from the ATV Dashboard.

Step 2: Select Gateway

Select the gateway for Mesh configuration.

Step 3: Add Satellite/Slave

Click on “Add Satellite”.

Step 4: Pairing Slave

Press the pair button for 5 seconds. on the slave device, it will show a quick flashing yellow Mesh LED.

Click on “Done”.

Step 5: Timer Starts

Once the Mesh is established successfully, the Mesh LED turns static GREEN/ORANGE/PURPLE.

The image below shows the device is in slave mode with a purple LED.

Step 6: Mesh Graph

Here the image shows that the Mesh is configured successfully.
