Include Z-wave Device

Note: It is important to exclude Z-Wave devices before inclusion, follow the section below that describes how to exclude Z-wave devices.

Include Device:

The process of adding (pairing) devices to the Gateway is Inclusion.

Note:

Log in to your Xunison Application. you will be directed to the home gateway.

Select the home gateway and proceed ahead.

Step 1: Select Smart Home

Select "Smart Home" from the left menu.

Step 2: Settings

From the device section, select the “Settings" icon from the right-hand corner of the screen.

Step 3: Include Device

Select the option “Include Device”.

Step 4: Select Z-Wave Device

Select the Z-Wave Device option to include the Z-Wave device.

Step 5: Pairing the Device

Press search and press the pair button three times within 1.5 seconds on the Z-Wave device.

The device will start pairing with an X-Brain device.

Step 6: Device Discovered & Included

The colour change indicates that the Z-Wave device is discovered by the X-Brain device.

Step 7: Device Included Successfully

You can see that the Z-Wave device (Siren) is added/included successfully. Select “Done”.
