Provisioning of the Home Gateway

Gateway provisioning is the process of setting up a network so that authorized users, devices, and servers can access it. The process involves adding a gateway to the application. This can be done by scanning the QR code or by LAN search on the application.

Please follow the steps below to provision the account to your gateway.

Note: Either follow the router mode from Step 8 or repeater mode from step 8b to complete the wizard.

Step 1: Add New Home

Click on “Add New Home”.

Step 2: Scan QR Code or LAN Search

Select “Scan QR Code” or “LAN Search” to provide the gateway to your account.

1) Scan QR Code: Scan the QR code given at the bottom of the router.

2) LAN Search: By clicking on LAN Search, you can access the gateway.

Step 3: Scan QR Code

A gateway is found after scanning the QR code.

Step 4: Add Gateway

Click on "Add Gateway".

The gateway UID appears as shown below. Select "Add Gateway" and proceed further.

Step 5: Enter Gateway Name

Add the gateway name and click on "Save Changes".

Step 6: Select Timezone

Select your TimeZone and Press ">"

OR

you can select the phone's default TimeZone and press ">"

Step 7: Admin Password

Here you have the option to keep the default password or set up another one.

Click ">" to proceed further.

Step 8a: Select Router Mode

Select the router mode and tap ">"

Click on Finish set up.

Setup Updated

The router settings have been successfully updated.

Step 8b: Repeater Mode

You can also select the repeater mode for your X-Brain device.

Tap on the router mode and select the repeater mode.

Step 9: Scan the Network

Press "SCAN".

Select the Wi-Fi network from here to which you want to extend the network.

Step 10: Enter Password

Enter the correct password of the selected network and proceed further by clicking ">".

Step 11: Finish Setup

Press "Finish Setup".

It takes 3 to 4 minutes to complete the setup.

The Router Setup is Successfully Completed

Enter the wireless network user ID and the password and click on Finish Setup.
