How To Set up Mesh Mode?


This section provides information about how to configure Mesh Router.

Note:

1) Connect the master device with the power cable and the Ethernet cable.

2) Connect the slave device only with a power cable.

3) Keep a minimum distance of 3 to 4 meters and a maximum of 30 to 35 meters between the two routers.

Note:

Log in to your Xunison Application and you will be directed to the home gateway.

Select the home gateway and proceed ahead.

Step 1: Select "Router"

Click on “Router” from the left menu.

Step 2: "Add Satellite"

Select Add Satellite to start the Mesh pairing process.

Step 3: Press The Pair Button

Press the pair button on “Satellite Device” as shown in the image (on left) for 5 seconds. Press “OK”.

Step 4: Slave Flashes Yellow Color

As the slave device starts flashing yellow, press “It’s Flashing Yellow” as shown here.

Pairing is in the process.

The image shows that the slave device is connecting to the gateway.

Step 5: Select the Slave's LED

Select the Mesh LED color as you see on the slave device.

Solid Green: Very Good signal.

Solid Purple: Devices are too close. You can move the device further to cover up the network coverage.

Solid Orange: Devices are too far. You can move the device closer to get good coverage. Also, the LED will change.

Flashing Red: Paring time out hence we need to pair again.

Step 6: Mesh is set up

Mesh setup is successful.

Step 7: Wi-Fi Mesh Graph

Mesh is established successfully.

Here you can check the slave device's speed by tapping on it.

Note: You can also get the information about the MAC address, IP address, etc
