Another Way to Exclude a Z-Wave Device from a Room

Important:

The device should be assigned to a room before proceeding further with the exclusion of the device. To assign a device to a room, follow the steps mentioned in the link below:

Also, if the room is already created then you can exclude the device from the room, however, if not, then you can follow the instructions mentioned below to create a room:

Note:

Log in to your Xunison Application and you will be directed to the home gateway.

Select the home gateway and proceed ahead.



Step 1: Smart Home Section

Select "Smart Home" on the left menu.

Step 2: Devices

Select Rooms from here.

Step 3: Exclude the Device

Long press on the device you want to exclude.

Step 4: Select Device To Exclude

Click on "Exclude Device".

Step 5: Exclude

Select "Exclude" and press the pair button thrice on the Z-wave device within 1.5 seconds.

Step 6: Exclusion in Process

The device will be excluded with a timeout of 60 seconds.

The device is successfully excluded.
