Include Z-Wave Device

The process of adding (pairing) devices to the Gateway is Inclusion.

Note: It is important to exclude Z-Wave devices before inclusion, follow the section below that describes how to exclude Z-wave devices.

Note:

Log in to your Xunison Application and you will be directed to the home gateway.

Select the home gateway and proceed ahead.

Step 1: Smart Home Section

Select "Smart Home" on the left menu.

Step 2: Press"+"

Press "+" at the top right corner of the screen under the devices.

Step 3: Include Device

Click on "Include Device".

Step 4: Z-wave Device

Select "Z-wave Device".

Step 5: Press "Search"

Press "Search" and press the pair button thrice on the Z-wave device within 1.5 seconds.

Step 6: Inclusion

Search for a Z-Wave device to include.

Step 7: Device Inclusion

The device inclusion is in process with a timeout of 90 seconds.

Note : Blue: Device in pairing mode

Orange: Setting up the found device.

Step 8: Device Included

The device is included successfully. You can see the "Siren" is added in the image below.

NOTE:

If the room is already created then you can add the device to that particular room, however, if not, then you can follow the instructions mentioned below to create a room:

Device Successfully added

The device has been added successfully. The device will reflect in the Devices section.
